Alexis “THE420diva” D’Angelo
Alexis is devoted to achieving excellence as a healthcare information technology professional, patient rights advocate, entrepreneur, and cannabis leader. Having lost family members to cancer, heart and Alzheimer’s disease, her open arms approach, critical thinking, influence and leadership skills, and visionary instinct allows her to effectively advocate for patient safety, access, and availability of high quality cannabis medicine. Her advocacy work among the LA County Board of Supervisors, Los Angeles and El Monte City Council illuminated the need for public awareness and education.
A natural leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, she knew early that her life purpose is to be the “VOICE” for those who have none. After her father and grandfather passed, Alexis shifted her focus to technology and science; receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UNLV College of Engineering with a Certificate of Completion from the Cannabis Training University.
As cannabis leaders and, most importantly, women in the cannabis industry, Alexis feels it’s her fiduciary responsibility to engage in cannabis medicine education. Also, as a lifelong learner, Alexis continues to broaden her knowledge in Cannabis Science. She uses her experience in postproduction, public relations, healthcare infrastructure, and construction management to end the global prohibition of cannabis.
Alexis is devoted to advocating for the federal rescheduling of cannabis; changing the perception and stigma associated with the plant. Alexis is the Community Liaison for the California Cannabis Industry Association (CCIA), former COO of Kalogia, and a Women Grow Los Angeles Market leader.
